The Welcome to the Neighborhood project is run by a coalition of mortgage specialists, real estate agents and movers who need to provide Welcome Packets and Concierge Lists to clients who have successfully completed a home purchase or move and need to get acquainted with their new neighborhood. Putting this into electronic form allows the information to be distributed widely and helps these folks get settled into the neighborhood. It also helps businesses like you!
The businesses listed here are juried, meaning they have been chosen because they carry the best reputation with neighborhood residents, as determined by conversations, reviews at sites like Yelp, longevity and features in local publications.
One of the goals of this project is also to keep things simple. We don’t want to overwhelm you initially with choices, so we have limited the number of businesses featured. This doesn’t mean that the other ones aren’t great too! But try getting your foot in the door with the ones featured here to get started.
