Social Media Feature: Colleen Fischesser
This month, I’m really excited to feature a local Seattle real estate agent, Colleen Fischesser. If you’re new to this blog, then you may not be familiar with our monthly social media feature. We look for real estate agents who have effectively incorporated social media, blogging, or other types of online interaction into their business.
I am continually looking to connect with real estate agents in the Seattle area, through Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and guest blogging opportunities. I came across Colleen’s Twitter feed recently, as it was recommended to me through several existing contacts via Twitter.
Colleen is the Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Select Real Estate, specializing in South East King County. Colleen’s team is ranked as one of the top 50 RE/MAX teams in the Northwest! They pride themselves on “remaining on the cutting edge of real estate marketing and technology while providing value-added, personalized service.”
What I like about Colleen’s Twitter feed is her variety of posts. Not only does she post about current listings, but she also posts links to local events and activities, updates on her business, and retweets. She also participates regularly in trending topics, ensuring that her input on Twitter is relevant to conversations happening on a local and national level.
In addition to her Twitter feed, I also enjoy Colleen’s blog at ActiveRain. Her blog is a really great integration of the personal and the professional. She includes enough personal information about herself that it’s easy to relate to her, but her real estate expertise shines through in every single one of her posts.
To me, this is exactly what a blog should be. When we see the human side of our agents, we develop a sense of trust that may not be possible if they never reveal their personalities. I think this is what differentiates blogs from articles, press releases, and promotional material.
I look forward to reading more from Colleen and her team!
